Premo and Ihman develop joint Spanish RFID

Ihman, a Spanish company whose primary mission is the highly engineered development for business and industry, and Predan, part of Premo group, a technology leader for RFID components, have formed an agreement to develop a commercial and marketing project to provide to national and global market a radio communication module to integrate in RFID applications which require a reliable radio-link.
The cooperation between the two Spanish companies will generate a powerful joint of know-how and experience in the use of radio module (fully integrated hardware and firmware) to following applications: automatic meter reading networks (AMR), for water, electricity and gas, General purpose Ad-hoc sensor networks, Solar panels monitoring networks, real time location system, crane remote monitoring, healthcare and wellness network, weather stations, etc.
Both companies consider the R&D as strategic within their particular business plans investing on that over 8% in case of Predan and over 90% in case of Ihman.
