EDAPS introduces a state biometric portal in Kenya

The Ministry of State for Immigration and Registration of persons of Kenya has decided to implement biometric identification systems and biometric verification of an individual.

The portal is designed for user organizations of the Integrated Population Registration System of Kenya (IPRS). The IPRS and biometric identification and identity verification systems are based on software created by EDAPS.com. According to the ministry, introduction of a biometric verification system and production of electronic ID-cards provide absolute guarantee for instant identification of a person.
