Morpho certified in India

Morpho (Safran) announced that its Indian subsidiary Smart Chip has achieved ISO 20000 and ISO 18000 certification. ISO/IEC 20000 is an international IT standard that allows companies to exhibit excellence and demonstrate best practice standards in IT management. The standard ensures companies can achieve evidence-based benchmarks to continuously improve their delivery of IT services. Achievement of ISO/IEC 20000-1:2011 demonstrates that Smart Chip complies with internationally recognized standards for IT Service Management (ISM), focusing on continuous improvement as a means to increase client satisfaction. In addition, Smart Chip has also achieved ISO 18000 certification (or OHSAS 18001) which covers Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems to enable businesses to be confident that they are doing all they can to protect their employees. It also allows the businesses to ensure they are operating according to their stated health and safety policies. Achievement of ISO 18000 certification has demonstrated a verifiable commitment of Smart Chip in maintaining a safe working environment for staff and visitors, as well as an active approach to improving health and safety within the organization.
