Contactless booms on London buses

Transport for London (TfL) has said NFC contactless payments have accounted for 1 million transactions on the city’s bus lines. The operator estimates that as many as 10,000 people are using the contactless debit, credit or charge cards each day to pay their bus fares. This support for contactless payment cards is giving riders an alternative to TfL’s Oyster card, which also enables riders to load funds for their journeys
